Akron, Ohio (November 5, 2024) — CARF International announced that United Disability Services has been accredited for three years for its Community Employment Services. This is the eleventh consecutive Three-Year Accreditation that the accrediting body has awarded to United Disability Services.
This accreditation decision represents the highest level of accreditation that can be given to an organization and shows the organization’s substantial conformance to the CARF standards. An organization receiving a Three-Year Accreditation has gone through a rigorous peer-review process. During an on-site visit, it has demonstrated to a team of surveyors its commitment to offering measurable, accountable programs and services of the highest quality.
United Disability Services is a not-for-profit organization with offices at 701 S. Main St. in Akron, Ohio. It has been providing programs and services for children and adults with disabilities in Summit County and the surrounding area since 1949.
